Training Focus Areas

Strength Training
We’ll target core strength, upper body conditioning, and leg power to create a solid base for both XC and Enduro riding. Expect bodyweight circuits, resistance band exercises, and plyometric drills to boost overall strength.

Flexibility & Mobility
Flexibility is key to injury prevention and better control on the bike. Riders will participate in stretching routines, yoga-inspired movements, and dynamic warm-ups/cool-downs designed to target the essential muscle groups used in cycling.

Endurance Workouts
We’ll build cardiovascular endurance through cycling drills, running, and other aerobic exercises designed to improve stamina. These sessions will help riders sustain energy during long trail rides and races.

Bike Fit & Check Overs
We’ll help parents and riders understand what their bikes may need for 2025, including adjustments for growth and any potential repairs. This is a great way to budget and ensure the bike is dialed in for the upcoming season. BIkeS will be mandatory for certain practices.

Fun, Varied Locations

While we’ll have regular practices at Fairway Elementary, we’ll also incorporate exciting training at different locations such as local parks, hills, and trails to add variety and help riders tackle different terrains and conditions. Communication will be handled through in advance on TeamSnap!
