Wheels Up Weekly Rides – More Opportunities for Youth Riders!
We will be back this Spring 2025, Wheels Up will be offering weekly rides for youth riders in grades 2-7. These 2-hour rides are designed to provide additional opportunities for young cyclists to get out on the trails and receive professional instruction while enjoying time on their bikes in a fun and supportive environment.
What to Expect from Weekly Rides:
- Who Can Attend: These rides are open to youth riders in grades 2-7, providing a flexible option for riders of various skill levels to get additional trail time and coaching.
- Duration: Each ride will be 2 hours long, giving riders plenty of time to work on skills, ride different terrain, and get a feel for the trail.
- Low Cost: Pay as you go. Each ride is only $25 for 2 hours of fun, exercise, and professional led mountain bike rides!
- Flexibility: Riders can attend these rides as often as they wish. This is a great way to fit biking into your schedule without the commitment of a full-day event or camp.
- Professional Coaching & Leadership: Each ride will be led by certified instructors from the Wheels Up team, ensuring safe riding practices and providing personalized coaching to help riders improve their skills on the trails.
- Trail Focus: Rides will focus on building basic bike handling skills, confidence, and trail awareness, while providing an introduction to more advanced techniques as riders progress.
- Friendly, Low-Pressure Environment: These rides offer a fun, no-pressure environment where riders can develop skills at their own pace while making new friends and enjoying the great outdoors.

- Extra Practice Time: These rides provide the perfect opportunity for your rider to get extra practice and build their confidence in a safe and structured environment.
- Skill Development: Whether your rider is a beginner or already has some experience, the rides will be structured to meet each rider where they are, helping them progress on bike handling, braking, cornering, and navigating different trail features.

Spring and Fall 2025 Schedule:
- Spring 2025: Weekly rides will start in Mid March and run through the end of June, offering consistent opportunities for riders to train as they prepare for the summer riding season.
- Fall 2025: As the school year kicks off, we will offer even more frequent weekly rides, providing an ongoing opportunity for riders to stay active, improve their skills, and keep riding through the fall. Typically these end in November with some amazing Night Rides!
