Open Jump Air Bag Time Information 2025
IMPORTANT NOTICE: All riders (or guardians if under 18) must complete and understand the Wheels Up waiver and rules prior to participation.
Event Details:
- Type: Standard Open Jump with 4 airbags and additional features for a 2-2.5-hour session.
- Cost Per Rider: Prices vary by location and event costs.
- Range: $35-$55 (ages 7 and All the way up!).
Airbag Landing Sizes:
- Beginner: 2” Tall x 11.5” Wide x 14” Long (No safety sides)
- Intermediate:
- 4” Tall x 11.5” Wide (No safety sides)
- 6” Tall x 13” Wide, extra safety flat bottom (Safety sides included)
- Advanced: 8” Tall x 14” Wide, with long run-out (No safety sides)
Pro Jump (Flat Bag):
- Details: 6” Tall x 20” Long x 20” Wide
- Restrictions: Limited to 8 riders per event, ages 10+
- Additional Cost: $25 per session (no discounts)
Age Restrictions:
- Adults: Will be expected to sign the WU waiver and ride within their abilities.
- Ages 7-18: Guardian consent required.
- Ages 11 and under: Parent/guardian must stay on site.
- Ages 4-6: May be permitted with prior approval; please email Coach Cody at Wheelsupmtb@gmail.com.
Bike and Safety Gear:
- Bike Requirements: Riders must bring their own bike (recommended types: mountain bike, EMTB, dirt jump bike, BMX). No loaner bikes available.
- Safety Gear:
- Full-face helmets recommended but not required for larger features.
- Elbow, knee, and chest protection recommended but not required.
- Limited protective gear rentals are available; please email Wheelsupmtb@gmail.com if interested.
Safety and Rules:
- Skill Levels: This is a non-instructional event; skill-level restrictions apply. Youth riders must be approved on the beginner ramp before progressing. Adults may be subject to restrictions if riding recklessly.
- Rule Violations: Repeated rule violations may result in a loss of ramp access or event dismissal without refund.
First Aid:
- Staff equipped with basic first aid. In case of significant injury, 911 will be called or guardians will be expected to assist.
General Safety:
- Check-in required: All riders will receive day-of rules and regulations.
- Behavior: Respect staff, stay in control, ride within your abilities, and follow instructions.
Flat Bag Specific Rules:
- Access: Wristbands required, full-face helmets mandatory.
- One Rider at a Time: Only one rider allowed on the feature at a time; no group “trains.”
- Line Protocol: Follow cones, wait for the Flat Bag Guard’s approval before jumping.
Special Note: Scooters and skateboards are currently not permitted at airbag landings; scooter events are anticipated in 2025.
