Wheels Up brings a unique community event to your trail system with our Light It Up with Wheels Up series, sometimes known as Friday Night Lights. We partner with parks, cities, and local trail organizations to transform selected sections of trail into a fully lit night riding experience that feels exciting, welcoming, and safe for riders and families.

What Is Light It Up with Wheels Up
Light It Up events are evening ride experiences that feature a mobile lighting setup focused on jump lines, skills areas, and short trail circuits. Riders bring their bikes and helmets, and Wheels Up provides the glow.
These events can be structured as:
- Community ride nights for all ages
- Special celebration events for your local trail system
- Add on features for races or festivals
- Fundraisers to support trail building and maintenance
Whether your park has a small skills area, a jump line, or a short loop, we can create a focused zone of bright, fun, and safe night riding.
Professional Grade Lighting
Wheels Up uses SeeDevil industrial style globe lighting systems to create bright, even light across key riding zones. These balloon style lights are designed for work sites and events, which means they handle outdoor environments very well and provide excellent visibility for riders and spectators.
Our full Wheels Up lighting setup produces more than three hundred thousand lumens at an event. In simple terms, that is a lot of light. It allows us to turn selected sections of trail into an inviting ride space that feels special and memorable while still being practical and safe.
Because trails wind through trees and varied terrain, there are natural limits to how much of a trail system can be lit at one time. Our focus is on doing a few areas extremely well, such as:
- Jump lines and flow lines
- Pump tracks and skills areas
- Short circuits for laps and progression
